September 4, 2016 Workshop on Continuous Chromatography for Biotherapeutics
The Workshop on Continuous Chromatography for Biotherapeutics is co-sponsored by ChromaCon. It will be held at 04.-09. September 2016 in Zurich, Switzerland.
Aims
The course is directed at bioprocess development engineers and separation scientists in both industry and academia.
Attendees will acquire the basic tools to design, run and evaluate multi-column processes and to quantify improvements, serving as basis for an economic evaluation. The workshop is focused on twin column chromatography, because it is the least complex of all multi-column processes.
Program
The main topics will be:
- Introduction to continuous chromatography
- Theory of multi-column chromatography
- Design of multi-column chromatography processes
- Hands-on training on twin column equipment capture and polishing applications
- Process performance evaluation
Format
The course will be led by Prof. Massimo Morbidelli and will consist of a mixture of presentations and interactive workshops using the Contichrom CUBE. To ensure a good practical learning experience, the workshop is only open for a limited number of participants.
Registration & further information
The detailed course program and a registration form is available for download. Alternative online registration (only in German) is open until 31. May 2016.
