    Contichrom CUBE - Laboratory Scale Systems

    The Contichrom ® CUBE is versatile lab-scale liquid chromatography system with integrated dynamic process control functions. It offers unique capabilities for mastering complex separation challenges using our proprietary Twin-column processes. The user-friendly software enables rapid process development for batch, integrated-batch and continuous chromatography.

    ChromIQ® is the operating software of the Contichrom preparative chromatography equipment. The software is designed to allow the users to operate the equipment without expert knowledge of the underlying processes. This is done through an interface where the process input templates are filled out by the operator showing immediately the process output data. In this way the right process can be designed before running it.

    The software uses wizard modules supporting different processes and process control functions, depending on the Contichrom product. The wizards are pre-programmed software modules for easy operation. The following ChromIQ software wizards are included in the different Contichrom products:

    The wizards also help to convert the conventional batch process to the more efficient twin-column countercurrent processes.

    Dynamic process control tools like AutomAb® and AutoPeak® keep CaptureSMB® and MCSGP processes at an optimal set point during steady-state operation.

    ChromIQ® also has an expert operating mode for deeper control and autonomous expert programming. This function is deactivated by default and can be activated.

    The software contains all essential elements for 21CFR part 11 compliance:

    • Predefined user groups, administrators, R&D and production users
    • Rights management for individual user groups
    • User accounts are password protected
    • Logging with time stamp and user name (non-deletable)
    • Electronic signature with checksum of log and measurement files.

    Contichrom TWIN - Manufacturing Scale Systems

    • Contichrom ® TWIN  systems  are premium quality GMP skids designed to run MCSGP or CaptureSMB continuous processes. In addition, these systems have the flexibility to run single column batch, 2-step integrated batch (sequential polishing with in-line dilution) and alternating batch (flip-flop). Contichrom ® TWIN systems are available as LPLC or HPLC versions depending on the mode of operation or application. Choose from Alan-Bradley (standard) or optional Emerson Delta V control platforms. The Contichrom TWIN systems can be customized with single use interfaces for compatibility with disposable systems upstream and downstream. 
    • The Contichrom ® TWIN LPLC systems are enabled with  CaptureSMB  and AutomAb ®  dynamic process control for robust continuous operation.
    • The Contichrom ® TWIN HPLC systems are enabled with MCSGP and AutoPeak ®  dynamic process control for robust continuous operation. Standard units operate at pressures up to 80 bar. The units can operate in environments classified for solvent use.
